A couch is usually the largest furniture in a room and must be adapted to both the space and its occupants. Standard dimensions of the deep couches are 40 cm from the front edge of the cushion at the back of the couch frame.
Frame depth of the deep couches and the depth of the seats are two separate things. A couch that is 40 centimeters deep can have a thickness, pillows from 8-10-inch covers the rear frame. The filling shrinks the current seat depth to 32 or 30 inches, respectively. A few centimeters can make a big difference if the owner couch is higher or lower than average. Sitting on the couch in the showroom is the best way to determine the optimal depth for you.

To determine the depth diagonal of the deep couches, use a ruler to measure the couch from the highest point of the rear frame to the front of the arm, measured from the back and bottom of the couch to the point that bisects the straight edge. If the depth exceeds the width diagonal door frame or winding stairs, choose another couch.
